A Woman’s Perfect Match: Wealth Management and Philanthropy

Have you reached the point in your life where you say “So what?” when you look at your financial statements? Perhaps it’s time to consider a new and special life passion that can give greater meaning and zest to your years ahead. Other women have effected positive change for the better in their communities, states, America, and the world through their charitable endeavors. At the same time, they have discovered their values, vision, and voice through philanthropic pursuits. We’ll talk about some of these ladies and explore how philanthropy may be a good match for you also.

Going from Grief . . . to Grace . . . to Growth: A Widow’s Journey
When your husband dies, you may feel overwhelmed with grief, fear, and uncertainty. Decision making can be very difficult. Yet this is a time when many choices are presented about your future, your stability, your livelihood, your family, and your finances. Where do you start? Where do you turn? What should you do?

If you are a recent widow, or have a friend whose spouse died during the past year or so, or if you anticipate becoming a widow yourself one day, this session is for you. We’ll talk about the challenges of settling an estate - probate, wills, and trusts. This includes dealing with insurance agencies, banks, financial institutions, and government institutions. And then how do you discover and embark on a new life-path journey that focuses on what’s really important in your life. As a widow herself, Kathleen will share some of her personal “awesome grace” stories with you during this workshop . . . in addition to stories of widowed clients she has served in her role as a financial advisor.

Preserve Precious Memories and "Share the Voice of Your Heart" through an Ethical Will
Hopefully you’ve already written your legal will to take care of passing on what you own - your material possessions. But writing your ethical will may be even more important. The most precious thing you can leave behind is not your property, not your “stuff.” Rather, it’s your legacy of values and beliefs. An ethical will can provide a treasured spiritual heritage for your loved ones. It sums up what you’ve learned in life and expresses what you want for family and others in the future. This session includes examples and exercises to help you create your own ethical will.

Women & Money - Secrets Men May Not Want You to Know
In this practical workshop you’ll examine your relationship with money and its powerful effect on your life today. Through interactive exercises, you’ll identify your money personality and the "money messages" you learned when you were young. Then you’ll look at your financial facts to see how you deal with money today and how you feel about your choices. At the close of the workshop you will have started your own plan, integrating your money history, facts, feelings, and the power of your spiritual core to create an action plan that fits you and your values.
